IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the participation in the event known as "Treasure Hunt 2.0" ("Experience"), conducted and managed by TREASURE HUNT AUS PTY LTD., ABN 41 674 439 699 ("we", "us", "our", or "the Organiser").
By registering for and/or participating in the Experience, you ("Participant") agree to be bound by these Terms. It is the responsibility of each Participant to read and understand these Terms in full prior to registration and participation.
TREASURE HUNTAUSPTYLTD. reserves the right to add, change, modify, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the Service, in its sole discretion, at any time. Your use of the Site and/or the Service, including the availability of new services through the Site, shall be subject to these terms and conditions. In addition, TREASURE HUNT AUS PTY LTD. may impose limits on any portion of the Service or restrict your access to portions of or the entire Site in its sole discretion without notice or liability.
1. Event description
1.1 "Treasure Hunt 2.0" is an outdoor scavenger hunt experience held in a public space commencing at George Street, Sydney, New South Wales (NSW), beginning on 3 August 2025 at 1:00 PM AEST.
1.2 The Experience involves the use of a proprietary mobile application ("App") that delivers real-time hints and facilitates the solving of real-world clues, which will be located within walking distance of one another.
1.3 The Experience is open exclusively to persons aged 18 years and over.
1.4 Registration is required to access and use the App. This registration is hereinafter referred to as a "Ticket" for marketing purposes only. The term "Ticket" does not imply, confer, or guarantee entry into any promotional game or entitlement to any prize.
1.5 By registering, Participants obtain access solely to the App and the ability to participate in the scavenger hunt. Registration does not constitute or equate to the purchase of entry into any trade promotion.
1.6 By registering, Participants agree to the Privacy Policy of Treasure Hunt 2.0, findable in the footer of the website treasurehunteraus.com
2. TRADE PROMOTIONS
2.1 FIRST TRADE PROMOTION - GAME OF SKILL ("The Finale")
2.1.1 A trade promotion conducted in accordance with the game of skill provisions under NSW Fair Trading and applicable regulations will take place following the Experience.
2.1.2 Only the first ten (10) Participants who successfully solve all clues in the Experience (as verified in real time by The Organiser staff via the App) will receive free entries into the Finale.
2.1.3 The Finale will be a private event held on the same day and at a location within walking distance from George Street, Sydney.
2.1.4 Participation in the Finale is strictly limited to the aforementioned ten (10) Participants. No additional persons will be granted access.
2.1.5 The specific challenges forming part of the Finale are confidential and will not be disclosed prior to the event.
2.1.6 The Finale will be streamed live through the Organiser's oLicial social media channels.
2.1.7 The Participant who is declared the winner of the Finale will be awarded a prize of $10,000 AUD. The decision of the Organiser is final and binding.
2.1.8 No purchase or payment is required to enter the Finale. Entry is entirely free and solely conditional on performance in the Experience.
2.2 SECOND TRADE PROMOTION - GAME OF CHANCE ("The Draw")
2.2.1 A second and entirely separate trade promotion in the form of a game of chance ("The Draw") will be held following the conclusion of the Finale.
2.2.2 All Participants who register for the Experience will receive a free entry into the Draw. Certain types of registration may result in multiple free entries.
2.2.3 The Draw will be conducted in accordance with NSW regulations and guidelines concerning trade promotions in the modality of games of chance.
2.2.4 The winner of the Draw will receive a prize of $10,000 AUD.
2.2.5 Entry into the Draw is completely free and requires no purchase of a ticket or product.
2.2.6 Registration for the Experience, which includes use of the App, does not constitute the purchase of entry into the Draw.
3. NATURE OF REGISTRATION
3.1 Payment of the registration fee constitutes payment for the right to use the App in conjunction with the Treasure Hunt 2.0 Experience.
3.2 Participants understand and acknowledge that they are not purchasing any entry to a trade promotion. Entries into both the Finale and the Draw are free and are not subject to or conditional on the payment of money.
3.3 The App is required to participate in the Experience, and the Experience cannot be completed without the use of the App.
3.4 Registration is non-refundable. All sales are final.

4. CANCELLATIONS, POSTPONEMENTS, FORCE MAJEURE
4.1 The Organiser reserves the right to postpone, cancel, or amend the Experience or any aspect of it, including the trade promotions, at any time, without notice, in its sole and absolute discretion.
4.2 In the event of adverse weather conditions (including rain), or any other unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances, the Experience may be converted into a virtual format.
4.3 No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to changes in format, weather conditions, personal circumstances, or event cancellation.
4.4 The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or modify the prizes and/or conditions of either trade promotion.
5. LIABILITY & SAFETY
5.1 Participants engage in the Experience voluntarily and at their own risk.
5.2 The Organiser will not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or inconvenience suLered or incurred by any Participant during or in connection with their participation in the Experience or either of the trade promotions.
5.3 It is the sole responsibility of each Participant to ensure their own physical fitness and well-being during the Experience.
5.4 The Organiser is not responsible for any delay, injury, illness, or accident that occurs during the Experience or as a result of participation in any element of the Experience.
6. RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRY
6.1 The Organiser reserves the right to refuse or revoke registration, and/or deny access to the Experience, the Finale, and/or the Draw at its sole discretion.
6.2 Reasons for refusal may include, but are not limited to, inappropriate behaviour, non-compliance with these Terms, suspected fraud, or conduct deemed unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful.
7. GENERAL PROVISIONS
7.1 These Terms shall be governed by the laws of New South Wales.
7.2 If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, such provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and eLect.
7.3 These Terms may be updated or amended by the Organiser at any time. The most current version will be available upon request and/or on our website.
